Day 67- Happy 2nd Birthday Sweetie

Mackenzie celebrated her 2nd Birthday today, and the Dora cake was a big hit!

Day 66----the first bump

sooooooo..............

guess what i've been doing this morning?
Mac saw a car at daycare on there deck and went up the stairs to get it, no biggie right. Well problem is she thought she could ride it DOWN the stairs too. it was only three stairs but the bottom pad was concrete and she hit her forehead on the corner. bled and bled. Daycare lady called me at work and said it probably needs stitches. So over i went and she was just sobbing her heart out. Took her down to the ER and they got us right in. She was calm and normal with me. running around and laughing like herself. but the minute she saw a doc all hell broke out! she'd just start screaming. They ripped the bandage off they we put on it and im sure that set her off from there.
So the doc put a blanket around her body to hold her arms at her side. I put her on my lap and held her tight while the HOT HOT HOT male nurse held her head still. The doc glued it shut and put two strips of tape on it and a big ole bandage(see picture) Have to leave it on for 6 days, and he said the scar will probably heal in 2-3 years. :roll: Guess we'll be letting the bangs grow a bit now. haha.
So shes in good spirits and we are gonna head back to daycare after her nap for dora cake! mmmmmmmm

Day 65---Finally the Cake

This was my first attempt at making a cake. It was ALOT of work but im happy how it turned out. whew.....now off to relax

Day 61--Heavenly

mmmmm 6 cups of beautiful buttercream icing. Its Mac's bday this coming weekend and today I made up the icing for her Dora cake in preparation. Dont ask me how many weight watchers points I used up in sampling. :0)
