I believe this weathervane originated in Germany. My grandparents had one in there house, and the belief was that when the lady was out of the house, poor weather was coming, and when the man came out good weather was coming. So I found this one on ebay and set it up. Some places i've had it, neither of them came out at all. So I've since moved it in the house and it seems to be working now. Its probably just a bunch of hogwash, but I enjoy it just the same.

The local supermarket had just brought in these minature roses, and since my garden is nothing but ice and snow, I couldn't resist.

After being up all night before vomiting non stop, mac finally settled down for a nice long nap to give mommy a break

We went to the farm today to visit the horses. Mac wasnt very fond of them, spent the first 20 mins crying but eventually she calmed down enough to get out of my arms. Still the closest she ventured was just outside the barn doors.
